Amanda Peet and her screenwriter husband, David Benioff, are now expecting their second child. The couple have been married for three years.
Their first daughter, Frances “Frankie” Pen, was born in 2007. Frankie was named after Amanda’s mother Penny.
The 2012 star has shared her theories on childhood vaccines. “Frankly, I feel that parents who don’t vaccinate their children are parasites.” Whoah! Thems fighting words! It’s not the end of the world or something, let’s not get crazy!
The 37-year-old actress then apologized for her controversial statement and reaffirmed that she personally supports childhood immunizations.
She expressed that she believes that it is highly important for the parents to take vaccines themselves in order to be a good parent:
“You have to put your oxygen mask on before you put on others’. It’s a good metaphor for parenting, but it’s really hard to do sometimes. A lot of women feel that if they’re exerting energy in different areas of their life or are really passionate about other things, it’s automatically detrimental to the child.”
