Jessica Sierra from American Idol
With video footage from after giving birth Jessica Sierra, former American Idol finalist, spoke with the presss about having her new precious baby boy.
Jessica Sierra named her newborn son, Kayden Cash. Baby Kayden was born on December 5th at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. The little angel received his middle name because of Jessica’s love for the singing artist Johnny Cash. Baby boy Kayden came in weighing 6lbs. 12 oz. with beautiful red hair.
Jessica is now completely clean and sober and “deliriously happy” thanks to her son Kayden. She was known as the “Fallen Idol” after the 4th Season of American Idol because of alcohol, drugs, and jail.
Two years after being on Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab, Jessica says that the has learned from her mistakes and is now looking up: “I think things happen in life and don’t let your past get you down. You can always overcome anything if you want to and be a better person, so don’t let people tell you that you can’t.”
The 24-year-old finalist confessed that her son wasn’t actually planned, however she couldn’t be more estatic about her new role as a mother. She shared, “I was not married, I wasn’t like, ‘Yeah I was planning on having a child,’ but I don’t resent it.”
Kayden’s father has not yet been revealed. However Jessica did say that the father is a “former boyfriend” and now a “very good friend”.
