Celebrity dad, Levi Johnston might have ended or slowed down his recent media spree (to coincide with his visitation hearing?) but there’s one more bit of news: The thrilla from Wasilla gets to spend 2 days a week with Tripp!
Two days a week with his 13-month-old son, Tripp, not exactly what he wanted, but still, good news nonetheless… Bristol Palin agreed to let her ex-boyfriend have the two visits a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) and Levi is quotes saying:
“Saturday is usually the best day of the week for me…It’s the day I get to see my son.”
The media circus that is the celebrity Palin Family and the surrounding leftovers (Levi Johnston) can be cruel on break ups and things like custody battles, but Levi is trying to get beyond all of it, saying:
“I’m pumped that I get to see him twice a week. It feels pretty good. You can’t dwell on what happened.”
Levi Johnston continues, saying the following about Bristol Palin:
“She tells me if something’s new but you know it is as far as we get. She called and told me he said ‘Dad.’ [We] actually got together and went into Anchorage and ate dinner, just the three of us and got him some ice cream. It was pretty fun. We just got to be good parents and work with each other. We keep conversation to Tripp and that’s about it.”
Back late last year in December, the very Republican Palin family threw a first birthday party for celebrity baby Tripp, which Levi Johnston of course, didn’t get to show up to, saying about the issue:
“I wish I was there for that but I couldn’t be…He looked really cute in all the pictures and I am glad. Just seeing him happy is good, even though I’m not there.”
Alaska Superior Court judge ruled to let the custody battle proceedings be open to the public, giving Levi Johnston a little victory before the final verdict. Levi says in all the exposure, people say that the baby looks more like him:
“I think he looks more like me…Everyone I’ve talked to says he looks more like me. I am trying to get him to play hockey. He’s really getting close with trying to grab the stick.”
Good luck Levi!
