Lily Allen a celebrity mom? Yes, soon. They sure grow up fast, these young celebrities!
Lily Allen’s representative had this to say:
“Lily Allen and Sam Cooper are very happy to confirm that Lily is expecting their first child…Lily’s professional commitments will carry on as normal, including a scheduled performance at the Big Chill this weekend.”
So professional! The singer from across the pond who’s 25 had her baby with her boyfriend Cooper who’s 32. They’ve been seeing each other for a year…
So who is this Cooper guy? He’s reportedly an owner of some higher-end building company (who says they own a lower-end building company?).
Lily Allen was quoted as saying she’s “delighted.” We certainly hope so!
The girl’s been busy too! Lily is about to debut her new clothing line, titled: Lucy in Disguise. Lily Allen and her sister Sarah Owen will show the collection off for the first time at the Vintage Goodwood Festival on August 13th of 2010.
On a more somber note, this celebrity baby news comes more than 2½ years after she suffered a miscarriage.
Recently in May of this year, Lily Allen said on a radio show that having children “is ultimately my main goal in life and more of a priority than flying around the world jumping up and down on stage singing songs.” Who would have thought?
