Fresh baby girl Affleck arrived on Tuesday, January 6th in Los Angeles. She joins big sister Violet Anne, who’s 3.
Jennifer Garner’s rep had said about the new baby: “Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl.” Ever the charming and creative rep, so hard to find good people these days. There are no more details about the baby girl unfortunately.
Reportedly, a smiling Jennifer Garner was seen being pushed on a roll-away hospital bed as she was taken to her room. She was draped in a blanket, holding the new baby girl. Shortly after being seen, the hospital staff brought in a portable bassinet and heart monitor into the Jennifer’s room to check on the baby.
The Former Alias costar and close friend Victor Garber had recently said that Jennifer, who’s 36, is a great mother, “It’s her second child,” Victor Garber told People magazine. “She knows what to do. She’s probably the best mother I’ve ever witnessed.”

Gossip that another baby was in the oven started making the rounds in mid-July of last year. Jennifer even gave a glimpse of her bump later that month inadvertently confirming the rumors of her second pregnancy with Ben Affleck. The couple stayed secretive about the new baby until August, when Jennifer laughed that she found pregnancy rumormongering amusing, saying, “Eventually you will know, so just chill out for a minute!” When asked about any upcoming projects, the actress pointed to her belly with a grin and replied, “This.”
