Kerri Walsh and Casey Jennings to make a gigantic professional volleyball superhero with new celebrity baby! Professional beach volleyball player and two-time Olympic gold medal winner Kerri Walsh is pregnant with her first child after a triumphant Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.
In August Kerri Walsh took the gold medal in Beijing with her teammate Misty May-Treanor, which was one of the more memorable moments to the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Kerri and Casey married in Palm Springs in 2005 and Kerri has this to say about her new condition which is about 16 and a half weeks along, “I’m chubby, and I’m pregnant, and it’s awesome!” Yeah, we’re totally excited for her too!
Does this mean that Kerri won gold while preggers? She says that most likely it was conceived after she won gold…
Kerri says, “Well, they way they date pregnancies is a little bit confusing… We believe we conceived during our last days in Beijing, or about a couple of days after we won the gold medal.”
