Melanie Sloan, who also goes by Scarlett Johansson‘s mommy, has just adopted a precious baby from Ethiopia. That’s one way to not worry about a post-pregnancy body…

Scarlett recently came out in the new Iron Man 2 as Natalie Rushman, a.k.a Black Widow.

Anyways Melanie had to miss out on the premiere of Scarlett’s movie, because she was in Ethiopia picking up her new 19-month-old baby girl Fenan.

Melanie ended up getting stuck in Germany for a couple of days due to a volcano ash cloud.

“The volcano put the whole adoption process in jeopardy due to time constraints…but it worked out in the end.”

The 25-year-old actress and her hubby 33-year-old actor, Ryan Reynolds, have said that they’re thinking about adopting as well. Last summer, Ryan shared with UK Glamour “I have every intention of adopting at some time.”

In fact, Ryan’s older brother is adopted. On the topic of his brother, Ryan expressed “I’m very grateful for having my brother in my life. I couldn’t be more pro-adoption. There are plenty of kids in the world that need it.

Scarlett has an older brother, Adrian, a twin brother, Hunter, and an older half-brother, Christian on her dad’s side.
